Kookie Kaftan have been supplying Belly Dancers costuming needs since 2002.
We are based in Lutterworth Leicestershire in the UK and are sisters Julie & Lynne Chapman.
Julie deals with the costume side of the business whilst Fulya (Lynne) teaches and performs; Bellydance, Tribal Bellydance, Flamenco and Middle Eastern Drumming.
Fulya has been a full time dance teacher since 2000 and has taught at many major UK Bellydance festivals such as Majma, Gothla, JoY and Fantasia. Fulya holds various qualifications in dance and teaching, the most notable is Trinity College's Safe Exercise and Effective Dance Practice (NQF Level 5)
